Asin's first film Ghajini with Aamir Khan is not released yet but this new sensation from south ‘Asin’ already has her hand full of Bollywood films. Asin graced the Vogue cover recently a rare chance for actress who is still on baby steps in the bollywood.

Asin is also doing many endorsements for big brands. Asin, who moved to Mumbai a year ago, has no friends in the city this is because Asin is seen as a threat by the ruling regime of female superstars. She already has two big Bollywood movies in her kitty - Aamir Khan-starrer 'Ghajini' and Vipul Shah's 'London Dreams'. “The other girls in Mumbai don't feel threatened by one another. But the minute a striking pretty and talented actress from the South comes, they get all jittery. They see Asin as the next No 1 after Hema Malini, Rekha, Sridevi and Aishwarya Rai,” said one of Asin's male co-stars
