Wanted' criminal arrested with revolver in Jammu

Jammu, Jul 30 : The Jammu Police arrested a wanted miscreant along with a weapon from Gandhi Nagar locality, sources here today said.

‘’On a tip-off, police last night laid a nakka and intercepted a youth riding two-wheeler, but he tried to escape, following which a police team chased and apprehended him,’’ police sources told UNI.

During frisking, police recovered a loaded countrymade pistol from the possession of Koushal Sharma alias Kashu, a resident of ward number 3, R S Pura.

He was wanted in a case for attacking a senior police officer in 2007.
